Web Technology Training
From February 14 to February 18, 2005, Osvita Educational
Advising Center hosted seven advisors from six countries of Eurasia
region. The participants attended a five-day Web Technology Training on building effective and modern
websites and re-designing them towards increase of their effectiveness and using them as
a powerful tool in educational advising.
The intensive training program covered fundamental points
of usage of HTML, Microsoft FrontPage, and Photoshop in web site
development, advantages and disadvantages of the programs, and modern tendencies
in web-design. The training also covered interesting points on effective use of
electronic mail and search engines. The final day of the training was devoted to
the development of joint web site on the WTT.
In addition, the training gave the participants an excellent
chance to share their experiences and to discuss further opportunities for the
development of the cooperation among their centers.
