The USBT Advisers Association shall be composed of full members and associate members. The Association may confer on an individual or organization the status of honorary member.

The categories of membership shall be

• full membership for all USBT participants
• associate membership with the same privileges and rights as full membership, excepting the right to stand for office, nominate officers and vote

Membership shall cease upon

• written resignation addressed to the Association
• by demand of the committee following a vote supported by at least two thirds of the members

All application for membership shall be addressed to the Secretary-General and shall comply with such procedures as may be specified by the Executive Committee. The decision of the Executive Committee with regard to such application is final.
