Lviv University of Business and Law
Lviv University of Business and Law is located in old European city with centuries-old historical, cultural and academic heritage. It is one of the oldest private institutions of higher education in West Ukraine. Click here to find out more information about the city.
About Us Nowadays, the university consists of five faculties, full-time and extramural departments, 10 chairs, preparatory courses, and legal clinic. About 1,000 students study at our university which is equipped with modern classes and laboratories, library, computer labs with Internet access.
Accreditation University is fully accredited by Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science to grant Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs. In 2011 university received an accreditation for admission of international students. There is also a possibility for post-graduate study and defense of a Ph.D. thesis in Economics and/or Law. Faculty High level of university faculty is a key to quality education. Among the university professors and teachers there are known academics, economists, lawyers and scholars from West Ukraine. The world’s first scientific school on traffic safety works within the university. University very often organizes and hosts various scientific conferences.
Career and Alumni Lviv University of Business and Law alumni work as attorneys, legal advisers, investigators, notaries, financial managers, auditors in different cities of Ukraine and abroad.
Programs for International Students University accepts international applications for the faculties of Economics and Business (with specialization in Finance & Credit and Accounting & Auditing) and Law (with specialization in Legal Studies).
Study of International Students Languages for study of international students are Ukrainian, English, or Russian. International students who do not speak Ukrainian may learn it within the preparatory courses. International Students Office takes care of all international students.
International Cooperation Lviv University of Business and Law has close cooperation ties with multiple foreign universities, especially with Polish, German and Italian.
Student Life University students are actively involved in the work of Student Scientific Society and Board of Student Governance. University team is permanent participant in national and international SIFE (Students in Free Enterprize) competitions. Visits to foreign partners and participation in the international projects are integal components in the life of university students. University has its own athletic hall and gym. International students resided in a dormitory with double rooms, which is located not far from the university. University provides health insurance and medical services for international students.
Admission Requirements for International Students International undergraduate applicants must have completed high school. International graduate applicants must possess Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Applicants personally submit following documents:
- completed application form;
- document on previous education (school leaving certificate or diploma with supplement);
- passport or national ID;
- 6 photos (3õ4 cm).
Admission decisions will be based on results of individual interviews. Application documents are accepted on a rolling basis.
